Personal Fitness Activities

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is proud to offer a Personal and Fitness Activities course instructed by Clint Fenelon as part of our Health and Physical Education courses. This course is specifically designed to increase the skills, strengths and success of beginner and experienced athletes along with fitness enthusiasts. Sport-specific training and additional off-site instruction (regular ice time, use of the aquatic facilities and gym at the Kenora Recreation Centre and the soccer field at the Kenora Sportsplex) are included. Athletes enrolled in the course are regularly tested and monitored using a Moxy test which is a physiological assessment for intensity and recovery.

We recognize the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle and believe this course will help give students the foundation needed to continue to push themselves physically in a safe way. This course will also help athletes develop training techniques that help improve aspects of their game they'd like to focus on.
