In today's society healthy living and physical activity have become a crucial part of a child's education. At St. Thomas Aquinas we believe strongly in the benefits of students being active and learning how to take care of themselves both physically and mentally. Our various Healthy Active Living and Physical Education programs teach students the skills they need to lead healthy active lives both today and into the future. Through various sports, physical activities and learning about healthy eating, students make connections to their own health and well-being.

We are proud to have a number of Saints sports teams including basketball, volleyball, hockey and soccer to name a few. Our excellent coaching staff dedicate their time and effort to help their athletes excel personally and as a team. Our teams compete in the NorWOSSA division under the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association and have competed in numerous provincial championships.

Kenora Catholic also has a full-time Healthy Active Living  and Athletic Lead that works with our school to create opportunities for students to explore recreation, sportsmanship, teamwork and competitive sports.
