Students and staff at St. Thomas Aquinas High School are gearing up for this year’s Terry Fox Run, set to take place on Friday, September 20th. The school has set an ambitious goal to raise $2,000 in support of cancer research, and to make the event even more exciting, a unique challenge has been introduced to encourage participation and donations.
Michelle Kurtz, a dedicated staff member at STA, has pledged to cut 20 inches of her hair if the school reaches its fundraising goal. But that’s not all—the top student fundraiser will have the honor of cutting her hair at the event!
Donations for the campaign can be made through the official fundraising link: https://schools.terryfox.ca/StThomasAquinasSSKenora.

Stay tuned for the results as we countdown to the big day! Will we reach our $2,000 goal and see Michelle Kurtz's hair get the chop? Your support can make it happen! 🏃♀️✂️
