On November 6, Grade 9 students from St. Thomas Aquinas High School joined the nationwide Take Our Kids to Work Day, an annual event that encourages young people to experience a day in the working world. The initiative helps students explore potential career options by spending a day with a parent, relative, friend, or volunteer host at their workplace.

Locally, STAHS students visited a variety of workplaces, including;

The day offered a valuable look into a range of industries, from construction to healthcare, community services to education.

STAHS teachers and staff were grateful for the businesses and organizations that opened their doors to students, recognizing the meaningful impact the day had on students’ career planning. Take Our Kids to Work Day not only helps students gain insight into the working world but also inspires them to dream about the many possibilities that lie ahead.
