The arts took centre stage as students, families, staff, and community members gathered for the annual Stellar Awards, an evening dedicated to celebrating the exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication of students involved in the arts.
The Stellar Awards recognize students who have demonstrated excellence in Drama Production, Visual Arts, Native Arts, Culinary Arts, and Music throughout the school year. The event provided an opportunity to honour not only artistic achievement, but also the leadership, perseverance, collaboration, and passion that help shape a vibrant arts community within the school.
Throughout the evening, guests reflected on a year filled with memorable performances, inspiring artwork, creative expression, and meaningful learning experiences. From the stage to the studio, the kitchen to the rehearsal room, students showcased the incredible impact that the arts have on both individual growth and school culture.
Adding to the celebration, students in the Culinary Arts program showcased their talents by preparing a delicious assortment of sweet treats enjoyed throughout the banquet. Their creativity, attention to detail, and dedication helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests while demonstrating the valuable skills they have developed through the program. The beautifully presented desserts were a highlight of the evening and provided a perfect complement to a night dedicated to recognizing excellence in the arts.
