Students at St. Thomas Aquinas High School recently had an incredible opportunity to broaden their horizons and explore potential career paths during the school’s annual Career Explore event. Held in partnership with a wide array of local businesses and organizations, this initiative connected students with professionals from various industries to spark inspiration and provide guidance for their futures.

The event was a resounding success, with participation from the following local organizations:

From emergency services to healthcare, education, and trades, the event showcased a diverse range of career possibilities. Many organizations hosted interactive booths, providing students with hands-on experiences. Highlights included a patient simulator from a healthcare provider, uniforms and equipment from emergency services, and virtual demonstrations of workplace technologies. These engaging activities gave students a tangible sense of what it’s like to work in these fields.

Career Explore is all about opening doors for students and giving them real-world insights into the opportunities that exist right here in the community. It was inspiring to see students ask thoughtful questions and start imagining their own futures with the help of these professionals.
