Participants had the unique opportunity to learn from Head Chef Brad King of Cottage Time, who generously shared his culinary expertise, knowledge of Indigenous foods, and personal journey to becoming a chef. From traditional ingredients to modern techniques, the session offered a rich blend of culture, storytelling, and hands-on learning in the kitchen.

The event not only highlighted the importance of culinary arts in Indigenous culture but also empowered participants to explore the trades through a meaningful and engaging lens.
